Crannaberry: Cannabis Infused Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Infused sauces are a perfect addition to any cannabis-friendly meal. Guests can add as much or little as they like making it easier to control dosing. Cranberry sauce has more uses than simply turkey embellishment. Modify the sugar and honey to control both sweetness and potency. Use this tasty topping in baked goods, as a meal accompaniment, or enjoy a little wake-and-bake and put some on your pancakes or French toast.

Cranberry season runs through mid-November, so check your local farmer’s market for fresh berries!


1 12-oz bag fresh cranberries
1/2 cup cannabis-infused honey
½ cup sugar
1 cup water
2 1/4 tsp orange peel, finely grated
1/2 tsp coarse kosher salt


In a heavy-bottomed, medium-sized saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until most of the cranberries burst, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
Transfer sauce to a medium bowl. Cool, cover and refrigerate.
Sauce can be prepared up to a week in advance and stored in the fridge.
For a more potent sauce, replace the sugar with an additional cup of cannabis-infused honey.
